The SNAP format was currently used at each of the antennas. P. Burgess noted that the VLBA OBSERVE program had still not appeared. M.A. Garrett noted that a test version had been promised for over a year now but nothing had been announced. It was difficult for the TWG to assess what impact the new OBSERVE program would have on future operations. Hopefully some translation to SNAP would be available. P. Burgess suspected that translated SNAP files would need to be converted to suit individual sites. Where would this be done ? T. Foley felt that it could only be done at the observatories by the friends. In a recent e-mail (see Appendix 2) it was clear that PC-SCHED would be used for sometime to come.
