Supporters of the Max Planck Institute for Radio
Astronomy
Der Verein "Freunde
und Förderer des Max-Planck-Instituts für
Radioastronomie" wurde am 20. Juni 2006
gegründet.
Der Verein verfolgt
drei wesentliche Ziele :
a) Bürger mit
Interesse für die Radioastronomie und ehemalige Mitarbeiter
des Instituts ideell anzubinden
b) Mittel zur
Förderung von wissenschaftlichen Projekten des Instituts
einzuwerben. Vorrangige Förderziele sind dabei die
Nachwuchsförderung und die Unterstützung von
wissenschaftlichen Tagungen.
c) Aktive
Unterstützung der Öffentlichkeitsarbeit auf dem Gebiet
der Radioastronomie.
The association
"Friends and Supporters of the Max Planck Institute for Radio
Astronomy" was founded on June 20th 2006. Our association follows
three main goals:
a) To attract
citizens with interest on radio astronomy as well as former
institute members.
b) To raise funds
to support the scientific projects of the institute.
Preferential support is given to young researchers and to the
organisation of scientific meetings.
c) The active
support of the public presence of radio
astronomy.
