1. Sensitivity improvement by adding more antennasBelow is a list of existing or planned radio telescopes, which at least in principle could become available for future 3mm-VLBI. The addition of large and sensitive millimeter-telescopes (preferably located at high altitudes) will help to further improve the sensitivity and imaging capabilities of the global mm-arrays. Possible Participants in future 3mm-VLBI: |
| Name | Location | Height | Diameter | Apert.Eff. | Surface | Gain | existing VLBI equipment | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| Noto | Italy | sea level | 32 | 0.29 | 180 | 0.085 | yes | |
| KittPeak | Arizona | 1900 | 12 | 0.62 | 60 | 0.025 | yes | |
