11. Watsons Bay Sunset (2008)

After jumping from rock to rock at Watsons Bay, in Sydney, I found a good spot from where I could have the rocks in the foreground and Sydney's skyline in the background. I used a long exposure to blur the breaking waves against the setting sun.

12. Baby Fern (2009)

This young fern caught my eye during one of my boardwalks in Queensland. It looked as if snails had camped along its stem.

13. Stowed At The Zenith (2009)

It's hard to resist another photo of this beautiful telescope being so close. This time, I found a nice platform from which I took a picture of the Parkes telescope from a high vantage point. The telescope is seen here 'stowed at the zenith'.

14. Myomu (2008)

This is a photo of the "Myomu" by Kan Yasuda, which translates as "key to a dream". It was part of the recent "Beyond limits" exhibition, at Chatsworth hall.

15. Temple Guards (2007)

I took this one during our visit to the Golden Palace, Bangkok. I tried to convey the large number of statues they had there with the shallow depth of field.

16. Perched Gulls (2010)

These gulls were perched along the railing by the Liffey river, in Dublin.

17. Postamt (2015)

A face-on view of the statue of Ludwig van Beethoven, in front of the old post office, in Münsterplatz, in Bonn .
