In module 1 each feed is followed by a circular polarization transducer and two cooled MPIfR HEMT amplifiers as first stages. It was planned to be used as a total power system with "software beamswitching". During the test of the first 3 feed module we found that the system was not stable enough for sensitive mapping of extended sources.
