Jasper National Park
Astoria River Region
This is Mount Edith Cavell.
On the slope of this mountain, we can see the Angel Glacier.
The majestic Tonquin Valley was just too far away! One day of hiking
is necessary to reach the fabulously beautiful Amethyst Lakes. There
are almost too many beautiful things to see here. Unfortunately, our
time is over.
I love the Canadian Rockies with all my heart. I know I will return to
see the many hidden treasures. I know too that I'll never see them
all.
Drumheller
If you are visiting the Calgary area, don't miss the Royal Tyrrell Museum, in
Drumheller. It has one of the best fossil collections I
have ever seen, perhaps second only to the Natural History Museum in
New York City. What makes this collection more impressive is that all
the fossils are either from Alberta (particularly the Dinosaur bones)
or from British Columbia (the Burgess Shale fossils).
Right at the entrance, you know what waits you inside!
Predator 1.
Predator 2.
hummm... Predator 3.
This place is real fun!
