Anne-Kathrin Baczko

Assistant Project Scientist

Welcome on my personal website!

Anne-Kathrin Baczko

I am a assistant project scientist in the VLBI group at the Max-Planck-Institute for Radioastronomy in Bonn (Germany) in the group of Prof. Dr. Anton Zensus.

My research interests lie in the field of Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN). I study the innermost regions in which extragalactic jets in AGN are formed and accelerated with the technique of Very Long Baseline Interferometry (VLBI). In order to learn more about my research please find a summary at the sub-page "Research interest" and my publication list on ADS.

I am concerned in getting more women interested in science and to distribute my results via public talks, interviews and press releases.
