Yoho National Park

This is the point where the Yoho and Kicking Horse rivers meet. The Yoho is a milky-blue color, a beautiful thing to watch.

Emerald Lake

This park has many memorable things to see, like Lake O'Hara, the Yoho Valley and the Takkakaw Falls. Most of these places were still closed in May. The only place from which I could take photos was the beautiful Emerald Lake. I definitely recommend the Emerald Lake Lodge (if you can afford it - it was steep for me even in off-season).


This is the view from the window of one of the cabins of Emerald Lake Lodge. It has a very nice fireplace, very romantic!

This view encompasses the mountain slopes where the famous Burgess Shale can be found.


There is a really nice, easy hike around this lake, whit many beautiful perspectives on the mountains.
