Effelsberg station report

 >A dBBC and Mark5B have been installed in the Faraday room.
 Work is proceeding to  provide all the signals necessary.
 Placing this in the Faraday room will avoid interference to other
 observations, caused for example by 10GE network equipment.

 >Final goal is to have both dBBC and NRAO VDBE . These will
 be connected to two Mark5C units via a 10GE switch.

 >Correct operation of the dBBC will be verified by zero-baseline
 tests against Mk4 or VLBA terminal.
 When these are completed , and Mk5A is no longer required,
 the Mk4 system can be decomissioned.
