Seshen25 station report for TOG meeting (September 2008) 1. Observations -In EVN-session 1, Sheshan station comprised 5 experiments at 18cm, 4 experiments at 6cm, 4 experiments at 1.3cm. The fringes were found in all observations. -In EVN-session 2, Sheshan station comprised 8 experiments at 18cm, 5 experiments at 6cm, 4 experiments at 1.3cm. During the N08C2 FTP fringes test observation, the receiver was unlocked due to missing the 100MHz reference signal from the H-maser. The others observations were successfull. -From January to September this year, Sheshan station joined 14 GEO observations for IVS NASA. -After Chinese Chang'E-1 satellite surrounded the moon last November, Sheshan station has scheduled two days' VLBI tracking observations every week. 2. Mark 5A -Two 4TB(500GB*8) modules recording disks have been ordered, and will be added to next session. 4. Field System -It is running the 9.10.3 version now. 5. e-VLBI -Shanghai Astronomical Observatory held the 7th International eVLBI Workshop on June 16~17 this year. A total of 87 participants from 11 countries joined this meeting. The workshop featured two e-VLBI demonstrations. One is e-CVN demo which involved the Chinese four VLBI telescopes(Sheshan 25m, Urumqi 25m, Beijing 50m, and Kunming 40m) and the correlators at SHAO. The other is e-APT demo which involved Sheshan 25m(SHAO), Kashima 34m(NICT), Parkes 64m(ATNF), Mopra 22m(ATNF), ATCA 5x22m(ATNF), and the DiFX software correlator at Parkes. A number of AGNs and a recent gama-ray burst were observed. 6. On-going project -The prototype of chinese DBBC has been finished in this August. The basic features are 4 IF AGC channels(either 10~512MHz or 512~1024MHz as input signal), 2GHz sampling rate per second, 0.5/1/2/4/8/16MHz base-band bandwidth, 32 data channels, 1/2/4bit data fan-out, VSI and MK4 standard interface. The Chinese DBBC will be equipped to Sheshan and Urumqi stations at the end of this year, and more VLBI tests will be done. -Holographic measurement for the antenna panels adjusting at Sheshan station will be done in the middle of next year.
