Onsala Station report: * e-VLBI:A 10 Gbps lightpath will installed on November 6. It will used to demonstrate, as part of the EXPReS project, 4 Gbps real time data flows from the 20m telescope (at 22 GHz) to the e-MERLIN correlator in the UK. A secondary goal is the transfer of data at similar data rate from the planned LOFAR station at Onsala to the correlator in the Netherlands. * Mark5: We have ordered new disk-packs and by the end of the year we will reach the CBD-goal of 130 TB. * EVN-session 3 2006: Rather bad weather - we lost time due to high winds. Otherwise, no major problem. * EVN-session 1 2007: Due to a long power failure we lost one experiment (EF018B). Furthermore, we lost EB032B due to a storm. In general, rather bad weather (rain) during the session. Occasionally problems with Mark5 (bad disks). Data affected by RFI (18 cm). We finally observed with dual polarization at K-band. * EVN-session 2, 2007: We successfully used the new S/X-band receiver (EC025A). It has dual polarization at X-band and single polarization at S-band. Lost EB036 and EB032C (5cm) due to antenna hardware problem. Otherwise no other major problems. * EVN-session 3, 2007: 20m antenna *might* have been incorrectly initialized at the start of the 43 GHz-experiment GB060A. Incorrect initialization could mean incorrect tracking. Took some time before we noticed. We have not yet heard anything from the correlator (6/11). Problem with the new S/X-band receiver cooling. This resulted in significant higher Tsys (about a factor 1.6) than normal. This affected user experiment EC025B. Lost EP062 and GP044 due to high wind speeds.
