Observatories Report Istituto di Radioastronomia Noto Station ------------ Antenna, Receivers and Microwave Technology At present the main issue for the antenna functionality is still the azimuth rail, but news from INAF report as the rail and grout replacemnt could be realised in 2008. If confirmed this job will probably stop the antenna activity next summer. A new antenna driving software has been realised able to support all the functionalities available with the TIW ACU and is able to control with better precision. The new software have also a web interface. The 43 GHz receiver is working with only one polarization and the replacement of a front-end amplifier will be done in the next months. The 86 GHz is still an issue. Functionality measurements will be done in laboratory and a new campaign will be realised in January 2008. Acquisition Terminal and Digital Technology The DBBC development group was fully operative and new complete units are under production. Indeed four units are almost ready apart from the unit for Wettzell that has just been delivered. A more complete information is included in the DBBC Report. Two recorders are operative in the station MK5A, still notupgraded to B, and MK5B+ borrowed by MPI operating with the digital terminals. G. Tuccari
