		Medicina station report to EVN TOG meeting


These items cover the period December 2006 - October 2007:

1) Mark5:
	
	- We already have the MK5 A version and we plan to get the new one B+ 
	- A further purchase of disks is finalized. A total ammount of 20TB will be added to the pool starting from
          next session. 
	
2) Field System:

	- It is now running the 9.9.0 version

3) E-VLBI:

	- Medicina partecipate routinely to e-VLBI tests and e-VLBI experiments. 

4) Receivers:
	
	- The multifeed system 18-26GHz is in the final stage of measurement. First antenna tests
	  are foreseen for the incoming winter. The central feed will be the new K band receiver for VLBI:
	  great improvements with respect to the current receiver are expected.

5) New observation system:
	- The development of the new observing system and control software of the 32m antenna proceeds. Two
	  PHD students have joined the team.

6) Antenna elevation wheel
	- It is a fresh news that INAF plans to fund the replacement of the elevation wheel
