A recent updating of records indicate that the Cambridge remote recording system is working highly predictably, with the occasional non-standard or broad band experiment not being observable. PI's should contact us if proposing non-standard observations. We have continued to purchase Mk5 disks and are about to buy a further 10x3.2TB packs. Obsolescence and failure of Mk4 IF racks remians a cause for serious concern as no replacement is yet on offer. Considerable effort has been placed into eVLBI testing: we have two 1GB fibres, one for each station. One is standard Internet, directly linked to Manchester-bar, the other is an experimental 'lightpath' provided by UKLight. We can sustain 128 mbps and are testing toward 256 and 512 later this year. Local computing power has been upgraded to support this. The Mk2 telescope is down for engineering work until about October this year. Paul Burgess 14/Jul/2005. On Thu, 14 Jul 2005, Walter Alef wrote:
