Brief Report of Last EVN Sessions
All projects of May/June 2004 performed without serious problems.
UHF carried out with new feeds and two linear polarisations.
First ever Tr FTP fringes seen on May 20 (in N04C2).
October/November session experiments were recorded mostly on disks
using Mk5. FTP fringes to Tr have been detected in both the bands
(C and M) in all the scheduled tests.
Changes/Upgrades Made to Hardware/Software
Most recent FS version (9.7.3) has been installed before the last session.
For the May/June session Tr used Mk5 recorder brought on loan from JIVE.
In June 2004 own Mk5 arrived from Conduant. It was successfully
used in number of eVLBI tests and a few science experiments
between the last two sessions, as well as in the October/November
session. First eVLBI fringes to Tr were seen on September 8 and
Tr contributed to 4-station (with Cm, Wb and Ar) transatlantic
real-time VLBI image two days later, which was followed by eVLBI
science experiments on September 22.
