Urumqi station report,

Mk5a has been installed in Feb. 2004, on Mar. 01 we participated the
experiment nord01 by using mk5 piggyback mode, the feedback from Bonn
correlator the ¡®Ur mk5 is smooth with excellent data quality (except
for the known problems with some of the BBCs)¡¯¡ªWalter Alef. 
We have 2*8-pack only, and plan to buy 8*8-pack recently.

30cm band feed with LCP and receiver have been installed in Feb; on
26, Feb, we joined the F04U1 organized by JIVE, Ur gives fringes and
sensitivity seems not bad, but there is broad RFI around GSM
frequency. There is a outport for RCP in the 30cm feed, if the EVN
scientific PC would think RCP is needed we could built another set of
receiver for RCP.
The LCP 30cm system parameters: Tsys=120k, the antenna efficiency
estimated is 35%.

New 6cm dual pol. receiver system will be installed in May by German
engineers and the local people, it is supposed to be used for VLBI and
also the Galaxy survey.

We will invite 4 American scientist and engineers come check our VLBI
system deeply, from 2 to 9, May, named Team China 3.

We will purchase new LOs for 1.3cm and other bands, we found the LO
freq. shifted at 22GHz band in the last session.
