A. Kus explained that most efforts were now being directed towards the new 32m telescope. A H-maser was expected to be delivered next month. A MkIV DAR was also expected to be available through the EC initiative. An HP workstation would be used to control the telescope. TRAO had recently applied for ``National Facility'' status. The application had the support of astronomers throughout Poland. News of the final decision could be expected in about a years time.
During the meeting the TWG were taken on a tour of the new 32m telescope. Most of the structure was in place and the first panels were being fixed to the antenna rib structure. There was considerable activity on site. The telescope is expected to be completed in year. The TWG were suitable impressed by the progess acheived to date. The telescope would be a significant addition to the current EVN array.
